Arts Council funding awarded to develop artistic practice

April 18, 2019

During the fourth round of Arts Council funding stream, ‘Developing Your Artistic Practice’, Laura has been awarded funding to develop her print skills and research on postdigital print.

The funding will contribute to two significant research trips. Initially, travelling to Japan to study Mokuhanga water based wood block printing, followed by a trip to Berlin to create an edition of Riso printed books; capturing the agency of error in her postdigital print-based practice.

The Arts Council funded 100 of the 909 eligible applications they recieved, supporting as many exciting and ambitious proposals as they could, investing £924,934 of the £14.4 million that they have to spend across the next four years.

Thank you Arts Council for this fabulous opportunity!
